Victor Moses will earn 50,000 pounds a week after he signed a five-year deal with European kings Chelsea.
Moses, 21, has finally joined Chelsea after several of their bids were turned down by fellow English Premier League side Wigan Athletic.
According to MTNFootball.com the former Crystal Palace star will earn at Stamford Bridge five times what he was on at modest Wigan. “Moses has hit it very rich at Chelsea. He will now pocket 50,000 pounds a week at Chelsea, while at Wigan he was on 10,000 Pounds,” a source close to the player disclosed. “He has also signed a long-term deal of five years because Chelsea see him as a player for the future.”
Chlesea is also believed to have paid Wigan seven million pounds cash with an extra two million pounds to be paid in add-ons. Moses said that he is delighted that his long-drawn transfer saga is finally over. Moses was on Saturday unveiled at Stamford Bridge as a Chelsea player before ‘The Blues’ game against Newcastle United. I am glad that the transfer is finally settled. I am just happy that all parties are happy. It’s coincidental that my last game in a Wigan shirt was against Chelsea. But I must express my gratitude to Wigan for all the support and the fans I will miss them all.”
