Fifteen ships laden with various cargoes are expected to berth at the Port Harcourt Port in the next five days, the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports.
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) disclosed this in its “The Shipping Position’’, made available to NAN in Port Harcourt on Monday.
The document said that of the expected ships, seven were laden with petroleum products, three contained rice, while one had general cargoes.
One ship is coming with bulk cement, one with bulk wheat, one with bulk salt and one with frozen fish.
The document, however, reported that no ship would sail out with exports during the period.
The document also indicated that six ships, laden with rice and frozen fish, had anchored at the Fairway Buoy in Bonny Island waiting for clearance to sail in.?
