Ewa made this disclosure yesterday at the National Agency for Science and Engineering Infrastructure (NASENI) Day tagged “NASENI Technomart” at the 7th Abuja International Trade Fair.
The minister said: “There are three aspects of national development, it involves Science and Technology which will be used to harness the raw materials which will invariably affect the capital development of the nation. NASENi’s showcasing of its innovations here today shows what we have to contribute to the socio-economic development of our nation.”
Earlier on in his address, the acting director-general of NASENI, Engr. Mohammed Haruna,? said that the fair was an opportunity for the agency to present some of its well researched and developed products to the market.
He said: “The agency is collaborating with the Abuja Chambers of Commerce Industry Mines and Agriculture (ABUCCIMA) to use this activity to showcase only technologies, processes, designs and products entirely conceptualised, designed and produced in Nigeria by Nigerians in NASENI. The agency and the ministry are here to cede these technologies to Nigerian entrepreneurs for commercial production.”
