The dismissed officer was accused of being an active member of the Boko Haram sect who supplies the group with guns to perpetuate their nefarious activities.
Ali kwara told newsmen that speculation has it that the predicament of the sacked top state operative followed an investigation that linked him to Boko Haram and that the missing guns were allegedly given to the sect members by him.
Kwara noted that, “our operations alongside the Nigeria Police yesterday clearly shows that the guns were snatched at gun point by the armed robbers and the director and his orderly who ran away were attacked by armed robbers.”
He said the gang had collected all the AK47 and pistol in his possession.
Speaking generally on his operations, Ali Kwara, expressed worry that most of the armed robbers he had arrested were being released and allowed to continue their evil acts.
He said at a time he was frustrated at the level of unilateral release of the bandits from prison and tried to stop his humanitarian services, but said the zeal and commitment shown by the current National Security Adviser,? Sambo Dasuki, made him to continue with his services.
“I’m somehow convinced that the National Security Adviser is highly committed to free this country from the bondage of insecurity and killing of innocent lives, that is why I decided to help him”.
