As Muslims all over the world celebrate the Eid- el -Kabir, the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in Kano State branch, has sent them a good-will message, and urged them to use the occasion to pray for lasting peace and unity in the state and the country.
The state’s CAN chairman, Bishop Ransom Bello, said that christians in the state rejoice with their Muslim compatriots on the occasion and admonished Muslim leaders and clerics to also use the occasion of Sallah to pray for the return of peace to the state.
He enjoined the celebrants to also use the occasion to show hospitality and generosity to the downtrodden, friends and neighbours stating that the festivity should be used as a bridge between Christians and Muslims in terms of relationship.
