Represented by Rev. Haruna Ganga, the governor said, clerics and traditional rulers were vested with the responsibility of promoting good governance and development of the nation.
He said that the leaders should not compromise the truth in their respective domains, and urged them to live exemplary lives for politicians to emulate.
The governor congratulated the district head on his 80th birthday, describing his contributions to the peace and development of Jaba Chiefdom as enormous.
Also speaking at the occasion, the Chairman, Interim Management Council, Jaba Local Government, Dr Joseph Maigari, eulogised the exemplary leadership qualities of Jatau.

In his response, Jatau thanked the family and the entire community for what he described “his blessings.’’
