The Headquarters of 13 Brigade, Nigerian Army Calabar, says it will empower military personnel, their spouses and wards from Dec. 3 to? Dec. 10, to enable them to be self-reliant.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Army Public Relations Officer, Captain Joseph James, in Calabar on Friday.
It said the programme would take place at 146, Battalion Officers Mess, Eburutu Military Cantonment, Calabar.
The statement stated that the skill acquisition was an ongoing effort of the Nigerian Armed Forces to reduce poverty in the country.
?It said that the beneficiaries would undergo vocational training in catering services, hair dressing/barbing, fashion designing, cosmetics, live stock, computer, and video/photography.
