Governor Mukhtar Ramalan Yero of Kaduna State yesterday reiterated his commitment to be just and fair to all the people of the state.
Governor Yero declared this when he received members of the Kaduna State Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) led by Rev. Sam Kujiyat and members of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC) led by the Senator representing Kaduna Central, Gen. Sani Saleh.
According to the Governor, government welcomes any quest for peaceful coexistence in the state, adding that the government would continue to partner with stakeholders to ensure development and unity among the people.
Gov. Yero urged religious leaders to continue to pray for peace, unity and development in the state.
The CPC members, pledged their support to Yero on peace, unity and development of the state.
According to the Senator, the visit to Government House was to commiserate with the? people of the state over the demise of late Gov. Patrick Yakowa, as well as to congratulate the new governor on his elevation.
The senator described the demise of the late governor as sudden and a shock to the entire people in the state.
