Governor Muktar Ramallan Yero of Kaduna State has said that he has a lot to learn from the newly sworn in deputy governor of the state, Ambassador Nuhu Bajoga, given his age and experience in public service. He said the former state chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) would be of a tremendous advantage to his administration.
Yero, who acknowledged that Bajoga was more experienced than him, said it was time to collectively build on the legacies of the late governor of the state, Sir Patrick Yakowa, and warned detractors to steer clear of his government, saying, “Nobody can come between me and my deputy.’’
In his acceptance speech after the oath of office administered by the state chief judge, Justice Rahila Cudjo at the Hassan Katsina Government House, Kawo, the new deputy governor promised not to let the people of the state down, and thanked those who supported his candidature.
