Also expected to grace the occasion are former military leaders, Generals Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar, as well as state governors.
LEADERSHIP WEEKEND observed that visitors started arriving Minna yesterday afternoon from Kastina and Kano ahead of the occasion.
Meanwhile, it was observed that some of the major hotels and guest houses had been booked ahead of the celebration.
The state commissioner for Information, Abdulhameed Umar Danladi, had told journalists during the week that the wedding was a private event of the governor’s family, but urged the people to welcome visitors as was the tradition of the state.
