Nigeria could miss defender Joseph Yobo and midfielder Victor Moses for a crucial Africa Cup of Nations Group C clash with Ethiopia on Tuesday.
Skipper Yobo has an ankle injury and Moses a hamstring problem ahead of a final-round fixture the Super Eagles must win to be certain of making the quarterfinals.
Yobo played in the 1-1 draw with Burkina Faso and missed the game against title-holders Zambia, which produced the same scoreline, while Moses from English Premier League outfit Chelsea was sidelined for the Burkinabe game.
Coach Stephen Keshi told reporters in this north-western mining town that he will make a late decision on the duo, who are training although not fully fit, while reserve defender Azubuike Egwuekwe has recovered from illness.
Burkina Faso are the shock leaders of Group C with four points, Nigeria and Zambia have two each and Ethiopia one. The pool winners face Togo or Tunisia in the quarterfinals and the runners-up meet title favourites Ivory Coast.
Nigeria boast a remarkably consistent Cup of Nations record with 13 top-three finishes in 16 appearances and they have failed to get beyond the opening round only twice.
