Borno State Governor Kashim Shettima has said that there is no? rift between him and his boss, former Governor Ali Modu Sheriff a.k.a.?? SAS and his deputy, Alhaji Zanna Umar Mustapha as purportedly reported by some media (not Leadership).
Reacting to the media reports when the Southern Borno ANPP Stakeholders Forum led by the National Vice Chairman North East Zone of the ANPP, Barrister Isa Modu Chul, Governor Shettima said that “there is no rift between them and myself.? Even if I am going for my second term bid come 2015 I am going to re-contest along with my deputy Alhaji Zanah Umar Mustapha”.
Shettima? who stated this,? Wednesday, when political leaders from Southern Borno paid him a? courtesy visit at the Government House Maiduguri coincidentally on the heat of the mater which? had generated serious political tension in the state, particualarly the Borno South where the deputy governor hails from and the critics and political fighters are also from seems to have mellowed down the situation as the visit was regarded as a solidarity from the leaders on behalf of the people of the area where one of the state commissioners in the Shettima cabinet is being alleged of masterminding the struggle and protest to unseat the deputy as part of political gimmicks.
