The Consumer Affairs Bureau (CAB) of the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) holds yet another interactive session on Friday, 22nd of March, 2013 in the confluence city of Lokoja, Kogi State.
Burning issues that have bordered on ensuring a vibrant and effective telecoms delivery have consistently been brought to the fore by NCC through the interactive sessions organized frequently around the country.
A statement signed by Tony Ojobo, Director, Public Affairs of the NCC, stated that, the theme for discussion in Lokoja would be “Protection Of Telecoms Infrastructure”.
Telecoms masts have been known to be vandalized in many parts of the country. There have been cases of difficulties experienced by service providers in locating and installing masts in some communities. Multiple taxations have continued to be presented by telecoms providers as reason for difficulties in effecting their desired spread.
