Vitesse striker Wilfried Bony has hinted that he would be interested in a move to Chelsea in the summer transfer window, but that he is focused on his current club for now.
The prolific attacker has caught the attention of a number of clubs with his fine performances, and he welcomed the interest of the 2011-12 Champions League winners
The Cote d’Ivoire international has been continually linked with a move away from the Eredivisie following his impressive performances this season, and Chelsea are one of the teams that are closely monitoring the star’s situation.
“It’s nice to hear that clubs are interested in me. Chelsea are a big and beautiful club,” Bony was quoted as saying by De Telegraaf.
“But this is not the right moment to think about a transfer. I want to focus on the remaining seven games of the season with Vitesse.”
The 24-year-old, who has netted 24 goals in 26 Eredivisie appearances so far, has a contract with Vitesse until June 2015.
