Contrary to several media reports that Primetime Entertainment duo Kenny ‘Keke’ Ogungbe and Dayo Adeneye (D1) have gone their separate ways after over a decade of intimate partnership; D1 via his Facebook account has debunked the possibility.
Rumours are that a multi-million naira deal other irreconcilable issues are the reasons the pioneers of Hip Hop music in Nigeria have broken ties between them.
But D1 insists that himself and Keke Ogungbe are inseparable.
“Friends, please do not encourage those MORONS trying to spoil our good name/brand by helping them spread the false rumours. Keke and myself remain the best of friends and biz partners. We have been friends since the days of garri and ewa agoyin and would never ever let money come between us. There is no iota of truth to the rubbish being circulated on the
Internet. God bless,” D1 posted on his Facebook wall penultimate week.
Apparently in a bid to further confirm to many that the two of them still enjoy good relationship; they arrived a recently held award show ‘The Headies’ together and even rocked at the after party held at the Auto Lounge Victoria Island, Lagos, together.
Although a few critics say the move may be a facade after all; a close source to the two confirmed to LEADERSHIP SUNDAY that the duo were still in joint business and that their relationship remained intact.
“They still have good relationship. It’s just that D1 is into other things like acting and a Judge on Peak Talent show, which doesn’t involve Keke,” our source quipped.
