CPC Declares Readiness To Win Kogi Guber Race We’re Ready – CPC Chair

The Kogi State Chairman of the Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), Alhaji Mohammed Mabo, has expressed the party’s preparedness for the December 3 governorship poll in the state.

He made the assertion in an interview with LEADERSHIP in Lokoja shortly after the party rounded off its consultation visit to the eastern and western flanks of the state.
He noted that, based on their interactions with the electorate, the people of the state were poised for a change and expressed confidence that his party would take over from the ruling party in December.

According to him, the CPC was presenting Chief James Ocholi, a credible and very intelligent personality, whose administration would be anchored on transparency and accountability.

He therefore charged the people of the state not to allow themselves to be short-changed this time around, urging them to defend their votes.
?

Mabo further added that the electorate was in a good position to judge, based on their experience in the last eight years, whether to go for a change or continuity.

He called on the electoral umpire to be fair to all the political parties, even as appealed to the youths not to allow themselves to be used as agents of destruction.
