President Goodluck Jonathan has announced his readiness to offer explanations to Nigerians on the resolve of his government to remove oil subsidy.
Jonathan who made this statement yesterday in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, at the opening ceremony of the second quarterly meeting of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC), said that the government was not unmindful of the hardship being faced by the average Nigerian.
The president did not mince words on his resolve to go ahead with the planned withdrawal of oil subsidy; he, however, said efforts were on top gear to address the hardship being faced by Nigerians.
