The Minister of Tourism, Culture and National orientation, Edem Duke has reiterated the need for government to invest more in the sector in order to optimise the potentials embedded in it.
The minister added that there were untapped professionals amongst the youths who are finding ways of creativity in various works of art.
He stated this yesterday at the interface workshop for creative artists on promoting indigenous knowledge with the theme: “Creative Arts: An Alternative To Oil As A Revenue Generator”.
“Everyday Nigeria? comes to the realization that there are certain untapped professionals especially? amongst our youths who constitute the larger percentage of our population and they find that they are redefining the parameters of creativity in music, fashion, visual arts and their works are highly sort after all over the world and they have become the face of Nigeria. They have become part of the tools that recommend Nigeria to the rest of the world especially on the platform of the creative industries.
