The District Head of Jikwoyi Community in Abuja Municipal Area Counci (AMAC), Chief Nicodemus Machi has appealed to the chairman of AMAC, Hon. Micah Jiba to assist provide more electricity transformers to power the community.
Machi, who made the appeal while speaking to newsmen in Abuja said the community, has been experiencing problems in the areas of electricity and other developmental projects.
Speaking further, he said the community also needs water and a good health centre as the present health centre in the community was too small to handle the health challenges of residents of the satellite town.
“With the development that is coming to this community, the electricity transformers that we have become inadequate and even when there is power supply, the voltage is usually too low because the transformers are overloaded,” he added.
Machi also appealed to the area council to consider opening of more roads in the area to ease transportation and accelerate development.
