Lagos lawyer, Femi Falana, has called on the National Assembly to conduct a public hearing on terrorist attacks and suspected assassination attack on Governor Adams Oshiomhole following a road accident involving his convoy.
The fiery civil rights lawyer mad this call on the heels of the weighty revelations of the National Security Adviser (NSA) on the Boko Haram menace at the recent South South.
In a release made available to LEADERSHIP, Falana stated that at the recently concluded summit, the NSA, General Owoye Azazi, inferred? that certain unnamed chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) should be blamed for the growing wave of terrorist attacks unleashed on innocent people by the dreaded Islamic sect.
He said: “Embarrassed by the authoritative and weighty pronouncement, President Goodluck Jonathan has disowned it and risen to the defence of the ruling party. On its own part the leadership of the PDP has denied its culpability while condemning the NSA for having the temerity to indict some of its leaders.
Before now, the Presidency had fingered and accused the same forces of using Book Haram sect to settle political scores.”
