Kano State governor, Dr. Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso has directed the state civil commission to start the recruitment of 1003 graduates to the state civil service.
Kwankwaso gave the directive during the swearing-in of new permanent secretary? in the directorate of special duties, Deputy Governor’s Office, Hajiya Uwa Bello Makama.
He said that as part of his government’s efforts to reduce the rate of youth employment in the state, “we are going to employ another set of graduates in the state civil service and also we are going to post the 1002 graduates we recruited last year to various ministries in the state.”
The? governor? called on the? permanent secretaries to be prudent in discharge of their duties, as they are the chief accounting officers of their ministries.
